Terms of service

The rules for using CaptureFlow. Written to be read, not to be skipped.

Last updated 23 August 2026

1. Agreement

These terms are between you and Burhan Hasanfatta, the independent developer of CaptureFlow ("we", "us"). They cover the CaptureFlow browser extension, the website at captureflow.pro, and any paid plan. By installing the extension or using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use CaptureFlow.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use CaptureFlow for personal or business purposes, subject to these terms. We keep all rights not expressly granted, including copyright in the software, the name, the logo and the site.

3. What you may not do

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source of any part we have not published
  • Resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute CaptureFlow as your own product
  • Remove or obscure copyright, licence or attribution notices
  • Use it to capture material you have no right to capture, or to breach anyone's privacy, confidentiality, or intellectual property
  • Use it to break any law that applies to you
  • Attack, overload, probe or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • Circumvent plan limits, quotas or licensing checks

4. Your content

Screenshots and recordings you make with CaptureFlow are yours. We claim no ownership of them. You are responsible for what you capture and for having the right to capture and share it.

If you later upload a capture to our cloud, you grant us the narrow, revocable licence needed to store it, transmit it and display it to anyone you share the link with — nothing more. That licence ends when you delete the capture.

5. Acceptable use of cloud features

When cloud storage and share links are available, you may not use them to store or distribute material that is unlawful, that infringes someone's rights, that contains malware, or that constitutes harassment or non-consensual intimate imagery. We may remove content that clearly breaches this and, in serious or repeated cases, suspend the account. We do not routinely inspect what you store.

Storage limits are per-account and not transferable. "Unlimited" on a paid plan means unlimited within normal individual use; industrial-scale automated uploading is not what it is for, and we will contact you before taking any action if usage looks abnormal.

6. Plans, billing and cancellation

  • The Free plan is free, with the limits published on the pricing page.
  • The Basic plan is $6 per month or $58 per year, charged in advance and renewing automatically until cancelled.
  • Payments are processed by a third-party merchant of record who handles card details and applicable taxes. We never see or store your card number.
  • Cancel any time from your dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for; there is no cancellation fee.
  • Refunds are governed by our refund policy.
  • Custom plans are governed by these terms plus whatever is agreed in writing between us; where they conflict, the written agreement wins.

We may change prices. Existing subscribers get at least 30 days' notice by email before a change affects their renewal, and can cancel before it takes effect.

7. Downgrades and non-payment

If a subscription lapses or is cancelled, the account returns to the Free plan at the end of the paid period. Captures already uploaded stay viewable and their share links keep working. We will not delete your files without warning you by email first and giving you a reasonable chance to download them.

8. Availability

The extension works offline and does not depend on us being online. Cloud features are provided on a best-effort basis with no uptime guarantee on the Free or Basic plans; a specific service level can be agreed as part of a Custom plan. We may perform maintenance, and we may change or discontinue features — if we discontinue something you are paying for, you will be told in advance and refunded pro rata.

9. Third parties

CaptureFlow runs inside a browser we do not control and captures websites we do not control. Their behaviour, their terms and their availability are not ours to guarantee. Browser vendors can change extension APIs and thereby break features; we will adapt as quickly as we reasonably can.

10. Disclaimer

CaptureFlow is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every capture will be perfect on every page on the internet.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue or lost data, arising from your use of CaptureFlow. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you actually paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions do not apply to you.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of CaptureFlow, from content you capture, store or share, or from your breach of these terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using CaptureFlow at any time by uninstalling it and, if you have one, closing your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms — with notice and an opportunity to fix it, unless the breach is unlawful or causes immediate harm. If we terminate a paid account other than for breach, we refund the unused portion.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top will change, and material changes will be announced on the site and, for account holders, by email at least 14 days beforehand. Continuing to use CaptureFlow after that means you accept the new terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction — except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your own country gives you the right to bring proceedings there, which it may.
